Dear Students,

These are unprecedented times and we are all in it together. I am sure if we all stay positive and support each other we will get through this soon.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Careers In Care has set up a ‘Skills Development & Employment Support (SDES) team especially for adversely impacted International Students. I am aware that there are many of you out there today struggling to hold on to your jobs due to the current health and economic situation.

As skills training professionals, we bring to you our customised ‘Job Ready Programs’ that include skills assessment, short courses, competency assessments and a customised Skills Development Plan at absolutely no cost to you. The purpose is to help you get back on track financially. We endeavour to offer this support to International Students for an initial period of 3 months (01 May 2020 to 01 August 2020).

In the past four years, Careers In Care has helped many international students, migrants and job seekers to upskill and gain valuable job skills through industry recommended short courses and competency assessments written by subject matter experts.

So, if you are an international student and have recently lost your job due to COVID-19 pandemic, get in touch with us. Write to us at covidsupport@careersincare.com.au (Subject: First Name – Industry you worked in last) and we shall contact you to offer desired support.

We have several employers on our panel looking out for people with transferable skills. There are multiple internships and project-based assignments waiting to be picked up.

Our team is excited to extend this much needed support to you during these difficult times. Careers in Care’s Job Ready Programs are especially designed to assess your current skill sets, upskill you and help you gain valuable job skills across a range of industries.

I sincerely hope that this Skills Development & Employment Support (SDES) initiative of Careers In Care achieves its purpose which is to help impacted international students get back on track to support themselves financially.

Take care of yourself and others around you. Stay Indoors, stay safe and stay positive as this too shall pass.

Helping you ‘get back on track’

Sincerely yours
